Uzkor is AMAZED

Standing in the midst of the wreckage that used to be an important Zorak Zoran place, Uzkor stares bewildered at Speth….

He has seen warriors who could eat a dozen opponents in one fight, he has seen a mother give birth while killing those who annoyed her, he has even witnessed a great troll get lost in river and not surface for 23 days, but this day he truly is seeing a creature so pure in her devotion and strength he feels small. He looks at her standing in her defender’s aura, dripping with the remains of zombies, smelling of blood and scarred for the benefit of her goddess and he realizes she is the most beautiful small, short nosed, 2 breasted woman he has ever seen! Uzkor roars with exhilaration at her triumph and humbly declares to her…

” Little Speth, I will always remember you like you are, the destruction you brought to Zorak Zoran is beyond the dark itself! In my hunters heart you have plowed a wound I will always carry with happiness in my love for you. Just call me if you ever want and nothing will stop me from attending you. You are to be remembered by me and I will boast and sing how you ruined Zorak Zorn and kicked him off his throne”!

He picks her up in a hug 5’ off the ground, and then bows to her.
Mike I would like to take a relationship to her… Uzkor loves Speth!

Planning

Check this out for examples of how to plan without actually going through the planning.

Fourth of July at Our Place

We're definitely grilling on Wednesday, with Mike and Cosette, Scott and Susan coming over.

The more the merrier.

Weather should be nice, maybe a fight practice is in the offing and some sewing or armor work. Or just beer drinking on the patio. And there's the Wii, which has turned into quite the party plaything.

You can check out our beginning progress on the renovation!

Doubled-Down on Boredom, with a Side of Aggravation

In an effort to avoid boredom that would require too much of a technical explanation, I walked over to Cavalier Computers a few minutes ago to get a Macbook-to-component video adapter.
Wandering from where they used to be long ago to where they were last, I noticed where they are now just as I heard the front desk guy say something over the phone about a Wii--at the very moment that I notice a new-in-box Wii sitting with the video adapters.

Forty-five seconds before I could pick it up myself, the guy on the phone got the last one in stock! Arrrgh! Now I'm first on the list for the next one in, but that could be three weeks. The one I saw today was part of a "surprise" shipment. I didn't even know they carried Nintendo stuff at Cavalier, which I think of as the place to go for work-related computer stuff. They handle 90% of our computer purchases for the lab.

And no, they didn't have the video adapter I needed either.

In other news, Thjora just called to say that we got our building permits and she has just spent $6000+ on three glass doors for the great room and the kitchen.
